As an experienced school improvement consultant, I offer over a decade of experience gained both as an independent consultant and as a local authority advisor. I offer headteacher performance management, leadership coaching, bespoke school training, and a suite of central training courses and leadership programmes that create impactful change.

My key areas of expertise:

• Coaching and professional 1:1 support for headteachers, senior and middle leaders.

• Support for senior leadership teams, e.g. programmes specifically for maximising impact, school development planning, staying on track, coaching and mentoring to support individual leaders in achieving a school goal.

• Raising standards in specific areas, e.g. oracy, reading comprehension, metacognition, thinking.

Services include:

• Create your own leadership programmes: This can be for a single school, a group of schools or MAT. From short training courses to year-long development programmes, I can work with you to design a bespoke package of training and coaching for leaders. This can be delivered remotely, or using a mix of online and in-person days, or entirely face-to-face.
• Support for school improvement professionals - Having trained and managed ASTs, SLEs and local authority consultants, and having extensive experience of supporting schools myself, I can provide training and development for a range of different school improvement personnel. This can be direct training, coaching, team facilitation or leading network meetings. I am able to work with central staff in multi-academy trusts whose remit is school improvement.
• Leadership support- Coaching and professional dialogue, headteacher performance management, problem solving, facilitation of working parties, data analysis and review, school improvement partnership.
